本次讲座摘要Abstract：

   The design and validation of electromagnetic systems are essential tasks in many engineering applications. However,it is often a time-consuming and complex process, requiring significant technical expertise and resources. With the increasing demand for faster and more accurate electromagnetic simulations and measurement, there is a growing interest in automating the design and testing process. For the past few years, we have been working to automate such designs and promote new testing technologies to achieve good accuracy and efficiency. In this presentation,we will discuss the automation process as well as a few examples of electromagnetic designs to demonstrate how automating electromagnetic designs can help designers to get economical simulations with good accuracy. Besides,advanced measurement technologies for array antennas in both farfield and nearfield will be explored.

Ravi Kumar Arya is a Distinguished Professor at Xiangshan Laboratory(XSL). He obtained his Ph.D.degree in Electrical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, USA. He received his master’s degree in RF and Microwave Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology,Kharagpur, India, and a bachelor’s degree from Delhi Technological University, Delhi, India.Before joining ZICUST, he worked for several years in academia and industry. He has published over 70 technical papers in highly-ranked journals and refereed conference proceedings,including 7 book chapters. His research interests include Antenna Design, Computational Electromagnetics, Machine Learning Applications, and 3D modeling.

Junwei Dong  博士

演讲题目：高级天线测量-Advanced Antenna Measurement Technologies

Junwei Dong is a Distinguished Professor at Xiangshan Laboratory(XSL). He is also the founder of F&MM. Dr. Dong received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Virginia Tech, USA and worked for Microwave Engineering Corporation(MEC) and Tongyu Communications before starting business in 2014. His research areas include electromagnetic fields and microwaves,electromagnetic waves and life sciences, RF measurements, electromagnetic radiation and scattering, radar and quantum communications. He has produced more than 30 articles, 70 patents, 100 products, and participated in incubating more than 10 high-tech enterprises.
